Bailing out the Euro

It is absolutely criminal that the Eurozone countries are apparently intending to bail out the likes of Greece yet again, largely at OUR expense it would seem.

Before the Euro came in, countries like Greece, Spain and Ireland were almost third world countries, everyone seemed to be driving around in clapped out old bangers, working for peanuts and if we went to those places on holiday we had the spending power of kings. Now if I visit those countries I feel like the poor relation. You need a bank loan to buy a pint of Guinness in Dublin! You struggle to find a single parking space in Benidorm in August for all the brand new cars parked an inch apart down every road.

I don't believe for one minute that they have suddenly found huge new resources or overnight have become infinitely more productive. They have simply been living beyond their means. And WE are going to have to pay for it. The only sensible solution is to recognize that the single currency is a lunatic idea, reintroduce drachmas, pesetas and potatoes and let them get back to where they should be. If they aren't allowed to do this then these countries will have unemployment rates which will put us in serious danger of a third world war!

Totally agree, we're a bit more lucky, we had a change of government before they really did run out of our money, only just. All we need now is someone to listen and ask for a mandate to stay in the over burdening socialist, unelected, unmandated money wasting pit.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Absolute crap. The comment regarding third world countries.

The reason your money doesn't go so far is that you have been printing money,(quantative easing) they call it so the masses dont understand. This has meant that your pound has dropped by at least 30% against the Euro.

Talking about Benidorm....There are still numerous bars selling beer at 1€ a pint (85p) ....Is that cheaper or dearer than your "local"?

I wouldn't worry about it Les. Its tosh.

Firstly its not "another bail out" But rather an agreement to increase the money pledged by each of the EUROZONE countries, to a rescue fund.

As Britain isn't even in the Eurozone, its difficult to see how Quote: "WE" (The British) are going to "pay for it". Unquote.

There is no mention of increased IMF contributions for example.

As for "feeling like a pauper"...That´s because Britain has steadily devalued its currency. I remember at one point one pound would buy 1.68€....Now its 1.10€ (tourist rate)..The pound buys less. Other tourists from France/Germany/ Ireland Etc for example, have exactly the same buying power as before.

The idea that being an unemployed Greek, Spaniard or irish person may lead to a third world war.....Well thats too bizzare to even try and work out!

"There is no mention of increased IMF contributions for example."

Yes there are.

I trade in Europe and i can tell you that our bank (RBS) has wiped out all credit trading with Italy, Greece and Spain.

These countries will have to pay a fortune for services and up front too.

What did the Southern europeans gain from joining the EEC ? Misery ! and a sparkly subsidised SEAT

They have had Euro $ sloshing around and borrowed it for years, payback time for them ? er No !

For the hard working (Germany) for the honest and prudent tax payers (England) Unlucky, its payup membership time.

No mention of the French at this stage, why is that ? Hiding under a mountain of EU subsidies while this all goes on ?

If you have Euro's under the matress, buy pounds stg £ now ;)

If my tax rates go up to German level i will get angry, if they drop to Southern european levels, then i will not give a flying ****

Why the hell should we pull them out of the mire. We, that is our government are cutting back on everything in this country.

Why the hell should our countrymen and women suffer while money is sent abroad to pull other countries out of the crap.

Are people still not going to Greece for hollibobs. ?
