A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away i chatted to ray walton about his pin.

has anyone any information about ray's pin, perhaps ray himself ?

I asked Ray the same question at the Barbel Society AGM, he told me that the manufacturer of the original Rolling Pin had been taken over, throwing his plans to relaunch the Pin into confusion.

A large capacity, wide spool, Young's-built (I think) pin that can swivel through 90deg on it's reel seat to allow casting like a fixed spool (sort of) - and very expensive.

That's about it, really - a quick search on the 'net should tell you all you need to know.
