Just a thought...

 

Chris, your argument seems to be that if a bait contains high levels of oil, it will be harmful to Carp.

 

Apart from the question of what constitutes a high enough concentration of oil to be harmful, I do wonder if ALL oils are harmful and if not are Sillybait using a harmless oil?

 

In human terms, I wouldn't like to drink a pint of engine oil but I am not sure that a pint of olive oil would do any harm (apart from the obvious effect of lubricating the bowels!!!)

thanks for puting it in the right words.

 

unless we can have some input from some relavent bait companys or someone who has research proof one way or another, i suggest the thread be closed.

 

or i will be here all month instead of fishing, after all thats what we are here for........ biggrin.gif
