By heck, a couple of quick replies! I had in mind Fritton Lake. Pretty big. Stuffed stupid with big bream, perch, big carp and big pike. No Barbell though. Fish from the bank or from a boat. Magic place. But whether there are tench, I don't know. Other suggestions more than welcome, its a fishery that has something for most folk but someone may know better.

Hi can you night fish fritton lake? I did think you couldn`t but I could be wrong.

There will be some big eels in there.

Fritton Lake, Eels yes, generally an unexplored rescorce. The lake is big and very deep in places. Night fishing, don't think so but can ask. Close season no. Caravans & maybe tents nearby otherwise yours truly's garden can cope with as many bivvies as are likely. Meet up Saturday evening, fish Sunday? Or make a full week-end of it?
