Can't help wondering what happened to those folks.

Me too. The wagon is in top shape so it must have been stored there under cover for yonks.

i'v lived in worse! no sign of the horse then ?

strange things are left ,not so much now but in the 70's we found a boarded up house that was still entirely furnished (had a spooky mummified labrador sitting at the foot of the stairs) that must have lain for many years and just up the road a decade ago a house was sold that was boarded up since the 40's and untouched (always meant to have a peek) probably no ebay then?

the difference ofcourse to america is size you could stumble about for years and just miss that shack wheras here theres few places that are entirely unknown but even here they exist in isolation ,in Newt land you can lose whole towns :D

as a kid there was a garden near ours where there were sheds full of old cars (on retrospect 1920's ones) the garden was full of brambles and the house (as kids we called it the murderers garden thus spooking ourselves from dallying t much  ) windows so grimy you couldnt see in them ,from google earth the trees are still there (some where growing through the shed roofs!) but i guess the cars are gone ,there was another model T hidden in an "island" (in the middle of a drive) in a big house near bromley common with a tree growing through it and i found another in a railway arch in a remote part of a common near the village we used to live in.

nowadays of course Ebay is a perfect place to "recycle" anything with the slightest value

i used to buy a car mag with a "rust in peace" section with scores of unloved hidey holes with poor cars rusting away

heres something similar but today its not cars its money rusting away now ebay is about

and ofcourse its not just america

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong
