darrell.cook:

OK guys, 19th is confirmed with the fishery.

What we need now is some confirmed numbers. They require a £5 deposit / head. I can pay this and you can pay me back on the day.

Can eveyone confirm they're definitely coming, thanks.

Total cost is £17, basic rules are no keepnets, no lures and no spinning.

I am definately comming. Since the magical number of twenty has not been reached yet can I bring my girlfriend. Belive it or not, but she is actually my normal fishing partner :-) :-)

When in the morning is the start?

The Itchen must have deteriorated since I was a keeper on that river. All those course fish! Where did they come from? When I was a lad the itchen and Test were strictly purist trout and salmon rivers.

Hi guys, been away for a few days so here's an update:

Price is per rod, so two rods means two tickets !

So probably best to fish one rod at a time.

I've been sent a copy of the rules, details etc.

fishing is from 9.00am to one hour after sunset.

Fishing is from Wards pool down and includes two carrier streams.

Car reg. nos. to be written down and given to the keeper.

Worst of all the rules state any pike under 10lb are to be killed. I, for one, won't be fishing for pike now.
