I've learn't an awful lot about the average Anglersnet Member from this thread

2 pages organising the trip, 3 pages organising breakfast, and not a single mention of baits tackle or tactics ;-)

ASDA Chandlers ford / Eastleigh 5 mins from M3 J13.

From, Southbound on M3, off J13

Go right & under the M3, onto Leigh road for ½ mile towards Chandlers Ford and go left (at lights?) onto Bournemouth / Winchester road.

At R’bout turn left down Chestnut Avenue to Asda. (1mile from M3)

Fill up! (supermarket is open 24hours – bread is a good grayling bait!).

When you leave go right on down Chestnut Ave towards North Stoneham you go under the M3 and then right onto Stoneham Lane towards M27.

Go left at R’bout for Airport, Right at next r’bout for Airport, Right again down Wide lane under M27 Past Ford Transit Factory, stay on this road down hill to Mansbridge road go left and fishery is on the left.(3 miles) 10-15mins.

Tight Lines All.

Jealousy: totally irrational anger directed at people who happen to be richer, prettier, thinner, cleverer and more successful than you are.

It would be worthwhile asking the LIF office if they will allow you to fish from Howards run to the the top of the beat boundary. This section is reserved for season ticket holders and has been producing some very nice Grayling (3lb+)plus some decent chub and trout this winter.

This section and the section that you have booked are reserved for coarse fishing only, so if anyone intends to fly fish, it's probably worth while checking that they are OK with that.

It's rather civilised as a fishery in that you can park behind most of the swims.

BTW Worms and Corn can often sort out the bigger Grayling there. If you do manage one decent fish, then hang on in that swim as there is a pretty good chance you'll get some more of the same size. However if you bump one off or lose one then that tends to kill the sport for at 30 mins.
