I was totally shocked by the tragic news. On Friday night I had posted on Facebook a video of my middle grandson doing a Michael Jackson dance. Jan commented what energy he had.

 

I had met and fished with Jan and Newt when they came over on a UK trip a while back. We fished on a charter trip out from Amble,Northumberland. A more friendly,outgoing couple you could not wish to meet.

 

Jan and I regularly corresponded about various things and she affectionately called me "Snatch" I also had tears rolling down my face when I heard the tragic news .

 

My thoughts are with you at this sad time Newt. There is one brighter star shining in heaven now.

 

RIP Jan from your Geordie mate "Snatch" :bye2:

I am devastated by this news, I was lucky to have met Jan and what a lovely lady Jan was, Jan will always be in my thoughts.

 

My sincere condolences to you Newt.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

 

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

Awful news ,My condolences to you Newt

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong
