Strawberry Flavoured Luncheon Meat

Guest Elton

looking at a tin of the above in my shed, I got to thinking:

Would luncheon meat flavoured strawberries work on barbel? wink.gif

With flavourings, could you really catch on anything? If bits of foam can be soaked and catch fish, surely the answer's "yes"?

Perhaps we should have a "Most Ludicrous Bait" competition biggrin.gif

Tight lines,

Elton

Hi Elton,

Thats a good point that!

Nowadays they catch fish on some strange and weird baits.

For example the british record carp that was caught on artificial sweetcorn.

Has the fishing world gone mad, or is it just the fish?

Artificial Sweetcorn? How tight is that!? I know the supermarkets have their mark-up, but sweetcorn isn't THAT dear!

Fish the Med and feed bread to bring all sorts of bits and pieces into the area.

Bait your hook with........

Wait for it.........

Chewing gum. Stays on the hook much better than Bread, works a treat.

Some friends were fishing still waters for ,tench ,carp etc and they had caught nothing all night and all morning! their girl friends call to see them at lunch time and took them a picnic, they had the food and talked over their lack of action, one mate said i might of well stuck one of these strawberrys on my hook! the other said "go on then" so he did , cast out and five minutes later he was into a 5lb catfish!!

Richard.
