Guest Keith
Derby Angling Centre are doing the Sundridge Hydra two piece (bib & brace + jacket) for £39.99. I've had one for years, and it is lightweight (not thermally lined), 100% waterproof, breathable and practical. I can recommend it totally. The shop doesn't seem to have a website, but their telno is 01332 380605 - and of course they advertise in the Angling Times too. ------------------ Yours, Keith Blyth, Northumberland mailto:keith@go-fishing.co.ukkeith@go-fishing.co.uk http://www.wacac.co.uk [This message has been edited by Keith (edited 16 June 2001).]

Guest matt_shaw
I would say, Drennan Drench Wear, but you know that Andy. Its quite expensive gear but remember, you only get what you pay for...quality dosn't come cheap! ------------------ ECO Timber Panels, Barn Way, Lodge Farm Ind. Guest Steve Burke
The Hydra isn't in the current Sundridge catalogue but it may be a discontinued model at a bargain price. Certainly I can highly recommend Sundridge clothing, which unlike most companies, they make themselves in their own Far Eastern factories. This means that they can totally control the quality yet keep prices very low. I've been field testing their Nimbus Sleepskin system, which is a 2 piece lightweight waterproof outer layer with a separate thermal top and trousers to add for use in the winter, making a total of 4 items. As you'll see from the forthcoming review I rate it very highly indeed. I'd add that I'm also been testing Sundridge's neoprene boots. I can tell you I'll never wear either wellies or moon boots again! ------------------ Wingham Fisheries http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/fisheries/wingham.htm

There should be a review in the next update of Angler's Net. Basically, they're not as warm as moon boots but miles more comfortable to walk in, even compared with wellies. On really cold days I wear an extra pair of socks plus use a foil insole. In summer they're much cooler than wellies, and as they grip at the top keep a lot of the mossies out. RRP is £39.95 but widely available at a discount. ------------------ Wingham Fisheries http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/fisheries/wingham.htm
