i was once surface fishing for carp on an overcast day and nothing was coming up then a thunderstorm came over the fish went mental loads of them were coming up they just randomly came on the feed when the rain started gtting heavy :S

 

The last thing i'd be doing on an overcast day would be to surface fish. Have u gone menkal? :P

Strike a light ! Not many people can casually say they had a few roach over 2lbs! Out of interest was it loch or river?

 

 

 

 

We had a talk about this in a thread last year i think you or someone asked what a loch was ( Its was loch Fergus) in Ayrshire

:lol: I was going to say the same thing! If I'd caught even one roach over 2lb I wouldn't care if it rained every day for the rest of the season :rolleyes:

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
