I refer the honorable gentleman to the answer I gave a few moments ago :):P

Isn't there a carp lake? :P:)

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

If I could emigrate to anywhere in the world, absolutely anywhere, I'd do lots of research, weigh up my options, think very carefully, and then ask Steve if I could move into the clubhouse at Wingham :D

My choice exactly, though I might just build a small cottage in a favourite swim!

Yes but thats only to stop any carpers on the real lake.

Ahem, I have no recollection of that...:D

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

OI OI,

I would move back to brum cos there is loads of fishing there but it would have to be a home out of the way, cos where i am now is so quiet it's magic shame about the fishing. When i lived there i fished all over cos my dad used to take us. canals, rivers, lakes, one favourite place was fradley canal BIG perch as i remember, but sadly i also remember old men throwing perfectly good pike in to the bushe's oh well i have some brilliant memorie's.

Canada, USA, Europe, Asia, Australia........is there anywhere you can get away from carp?????

John.

Gozzer mate, have a go at northern Australia. Miles of pristine waters full of barra, saratoga, sooty grunter, threadfin salmon etc. See the reports that Vagabond has put up. No crap mentioned....er ....misspelt that. ;)

Tempting Bobj, but I think it might be just a bit too hot for me, anything above the low/mid 70s has me heading for the shade. :icecream:

I'd also miss my roach and chub fishing, the UK would be perfect if we could reduce the number of carp and related mongrels by about 70%. <_<
