barbed or barbless

do'nt know if you've had this before but did anybody see tight lines on sky last night Keith Arthur & Des Taylor arguing about barbed & barbless hooks,Des said he thought barbed hooks did less damage to large fish when playing them because they did'nt move as much in the fishes mouth, Keith said he only ever uses barbless because he got better bait presentation and for match fishing quicker unhooking. most of my fishing is on match venues whereby its barbless only, i like using barbless, barbed or barbless what do you think?

i only use barbless if a big fish is on i think it would be able to twist a barbed hook in its mouth doing more damage than a barbless.

i can only say i have had no trouble with barbless.
