please can anybody give me any winning tips for hallcroft reed pool as i need an edge against soom good anglers

Hi Slimey, I fish Hallcroft a couple of times a week as I only live 400 yds away, you say you`ll be fishing the reed pool,

well there`s carp to 17lb, so you`ll want

at least a No 12 elastic, you catch with most baits, pellet, paste, meat, corn, bread,

there`s one guy who`s won matches with weights of 70-80lb on maggot. If its warm and sunny fish pellet up in the water, also

fish in the margins, but I would say that if you fish pellet you should do all right as the reed is fishing well.
