I agree, good bait.

To minimise the attempts to eat your bait try splashing with oyster sauce and tobasco sauce, it then tastes truly disgusting but barbel love it!

Dales and BoozleBear, if you knew what was in those things, you wouldn't be tempted to eat them! What do you get for 19 pence a tin? Mechanically retrieved meat, all the grotty bits blasted off with high-pressure water jets and turned into a pink slurry. Have a look at the label - there's not much pork involved.

I agree it's a great bait, though - leaves a lovely white fatty trail in the water!

Can't get Firesticks in deepest Cheshire - everyone seems to prefer "mild" (i.e. tasteless) cheddar round here, so they probably think it wouldn't sell...
