I have been thinking having a Anglersnet fishing meeting or do in fishing at Lodge Pool in Redditch. :D

The details of the Pool is in this link below

In this Sunday comming my fishing club is holding a emergency general meeting. I will be attending the meeting and after the meeting I will be talking to the club secretary about booking a pool for a day in the early autumn(Don't what date I can get but will notify the AnglersNet website soon as possible)

In order to booking a day I need at least 15 anglers :D or more (Up to 45 anglers on the day)

Is there anyone out there who might be interested.

Just for a bit of background here is a cut and paste from a recent thread-

Lodge Pool was the water where most of the carp that stocked Arrow Valley Lake (possibley the first carp match water in the country) came from. For years it was a closed shop open only to resients of the Lodge Park housing estate.A water many anglers in the 70's would have died to get on!

In recent years they have opened up the membership and also hire out pegs for matchs. The carp are not massive (up to just over 20lb) but there are plenty of them and tench. Not a water for all out carp tactics but a great fun water for float, feeder and pole fishing.

Would have thought it would be a great venue for a "social" day and also for any beginers wanting to learn a few basics.

A summer date would be good mate

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

As a born again bits n pieces coarse angler (I fished from 7yo to 21yo....then packed in due to work family etc)I'd be very interested in this as a pring/summer date :) I esp like the idea of a social and tips for beginners/intermediates etc, nobody ever knows it all theres always tips to pick up. Be good to share experiences w/ other like minded folk :)

Whereabouts is it? I've had a look on the site but couldn't find any info. If it isn't too far south I'll be there :)
