I am not going to pairs everbody up because most of the fishing pegs at Lodge Pool are design to accommodate just the one person.

Anybody who whishes to be pairs up, you can do and fish along certain area of the pool.

Most of the fishing peg are concrete pegs so either fishing platform or seatbox will be adequate.

Andrew I only have banksticks as I do not like pods whatsoever, is there anywhere in the pegs that have soft ground? My banksticks are the screw in type not that this helps with concrete

Andrew Burgess:

Is there anybody else who haven't decided to have a go to the AnglersNet / Lodge Pool meeeting! There are 9 days left      for those who haven't made theirs mind up            before I will booked the date for Saturday 6th August.

As its was my brother idea to get together type fish in and a few of guys are bringing kids/still quite new to angling how about pairing off people so that they can learn/compare methods?

So if some one wanted to learn about say using a pole they could fish with someone who knew about it?

If its a good idea then people could say what they wanted to learn/prepared to teach? Nothing heavy just a case of pairing up and getting on with it.

Er why is my name not on the list??????????

James - If you cant get sorted out, I have some long banksticks that you could use. put one in in front of the concrete (in the water) and rest your rod butt on your box/chair or something.

Whoops sorry Ferret1959. :o The reason I didn't put your name down as I already sent an email to my club secretary on the question you ask me

Ferret1959:

Errrrrr do they do liquidised breakfasts? :)

Unfortulatley the club don't have an liquidiser on site.

How much for fishing only?

It is £4 for everyone who wish to take part which I find it reasonable.

seph:

I will attend, but the only thing is if the rivers are in good nick and fishing well I will have to decline as I shall be on the river bank. Rivers rule over pools for me.

Well I can book the date but I cannot guarantee a place if you do turn up Seph because I will have to make the correct payment within 14days before the AnglersNet/Lodge Pool meeting, otherwise it make things more compilcated between me and the club secretary, I hope you will understand that. So it is a question of taking a gamble!
