Joy riders

It's about time the police stamped out so called "joy riding". There will be no joy for the poor person (or organization) who owns this Volkswagen Golf R.

That's a £32,000 car wrecked just so some idiot could feel a tingle in his undersized genitals

I bet they were trying to stamp it out when it crashed!

It's not just down to the police though, anongst others it's down to responsible parenting and the CPS getting their arses into gear!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

I think the wrong end of the stick has been grasped somewhere, that car belonged to the police and was crashed by the officer driving it:

It was an unmarked car belonging to the ANPR intercept team (job - chase down criminals in cars).

Ah - reading further, I see they were test driving it at the time:

Hmm wasn't the same copper who got off with "test driving" his unmarked car at 150 odd mph down the motorway was it ?

I blame his parents! B)

Then we have the other pair of coppers, who suspected a driver of drinking. So while he was taken away in a police car, they took his Mitsubishi Evo on a sedate and careful drive back to the station:

Is joy riding even a problem anymore ?

I was under the impression that with so many cars being almost impossible to get into without the appropriate chipped key, joyriding was a thing of the past.

Of course, you could still steel a 1980's Morris Maestro but where's the "joy" in that ?

Why " JOY RIDING " its not, its THEFT with the intention of breaking the law , driving like a maniac and endangering life, !

Same as a " suicide bomber " ! ! ! its not its a murderer gpoing equiped to kill
