NORTHUMBRIAN Water is smashing records before a line has been cast in the 2012 trout season.

 

As many as 22,000 trout will be stocked into the premier reservoirs – Derwent, Fontburn, Hury, Kielder Water, Grassholme and Scaling Dam.

My daughter's moving to Northumberland this weekend.

 

I expect I'll be taking my fly-rods when I pop up for the occasional visit :)

You will have to let me know when you are going up and see if we are around at the same time. It is also worth taking up your sea gear but not the Mullet outfits whilst they are there they are thin on the ground.
