Yep, brillient! If you want to catch crabs and rock!!

 

Then you can sit and watch the wind-farm at Scroby and Roy Chubby Brown on the Pier, or play bingo ad nauseum or loose toys on the crane thingies. The Pleasure Beach is a saving grace though! And Pownells sometimes have a good deals on tackle.

Easy run to potter heigham about twelve miles, Free fishing by the bridge suits stick float pole or feeder or try the entrance to Herbert woods boatyard if you are after pike, A great spot as they move in and out from the main river and the constant turning point seems to stun the prey fish and provide easy pickings.

Yes cobbleacre is an excellent 6 lake complex catering for all abillities, they have a lot of visitors from Yarmouth.Carp to 33lb, Cats to 40lb,Tench to 10lb, Bream, Roach, Ide,Crucians you name it! a bit of everything really. Tackleshop on site to.
