starting out fly fishing?

hi there guys,

 

after many years of coarse and pole fishing i have decided to finally have a bash at fly fishing

 

i understand the whole concept just not totally sure on tackle choices in the way of flies,line rod etc etc.just wondering if any of you could point me on the right path!!

 

it would be good if you could also give me some good tips on what certain flies are good and when etc etc.

 

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
