Tyke,

One thing mate give it time to work, my pond usually sees improvements from 10-14 days, but once it starts to clear it works fast & stays clear for about 2 months.

I think one pad does around 800gals so make sure you have enough.

Incidentally they're only £5.99 up here in Cleveland.

Peter.

The loose lines gone..STRIKE.

Not a botanist but a Nurses point of view The foxglove petals do contain digitalis (this is used in the manufacture of Digoxin heart medication) it is toxic to humans and therefore would almost certainly be toxic to fish.

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

The foxtail plant as ben removed.

Ive seen around 30 baby goldfish in the pond today so all is well.

Im still totally amazed how clear my pond is now.

Its a joy to sit by it watching the fish plus i saw 2 sort of dragonflies on it today.

Both red in colour.

Its a Anti algae pad and is made by TAP...Technical Aquatic products L.T.D

I bought it from my local pet store for £7.99

If you have a bio filter its best to put it in there Koi CARP :)

Ive tried barley straw with no sucsess bu this pad as amazed me.

Being a Yorkshireman i was loath to part with £7.99 for a oversized brillopad but on reflection its money well spent. :D
