Hello,

 

As a generally quite new fisherman I'm not quite sure when to start fishing for tench, I know that its some time in spring but is it too early to start fishing now?

 

Secondly, I,m wondering if anyone can help me choose a 9m pole to buy. My budget is quite low but any recommendations would be much appreciated at the lower price range- nothing specific.

Well I've had a quick look round google shopper and found a couple from garbolino- viper match or viper carp for just £50/60. Are these any good because they seem quite cheap. Otherwise, my budget is indeed very low for a pole, only to about £120 but from I've seen this seems okay for a 9m pole?

tench come out all year round but it gets easier about the close season onwards for a couple of months then tails off

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you
