Sway Lakes

Hi, I'm off to the New Forest in a couple of weeks camping and fancied doing a bit of carping at Sway Lakes. Is it day-ticket still at the moment as I heard it was going syndicate. Also, anyone know favourable swims, methods etc.

It goes syndicate Jan 1st 2006.

Litterbugs and unruly anglers have brought it on themselves.

Normal ledger and float tatics work well and floaters for carp off the top.

Not fished it for yonks but I'm sure someone on here will have up to date info.

The lakes at Hordle, Orchard and Turf Croft alos produce some decent carp if you cannot get on to Sway. Ive found pellet or paste to be the best baits at these venues I think boilies are banned at all of them.

Beeches brook fishery is what you want! It is beautiful and there are plenty of good sized carp too. Send me an email and I'll give you more details tactics etc! Hordle is also good fun but only really for small carp.
