Oh it can get worse. Try drinking some Pabst Blue Ribbon, or the fortunately no longer available Schlitz, "The beer that made Milwaukee famous".

It just got worse, Corydoras. :D

Arghh!! How could ANYONE want to bring back both Schlitz AND Pabst Blue Ribbon? Can't President Busch Veto this ;)?

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Schlitz - Either a spelling mistake or it sounds like what we used to call Shepherd Neame - 'Schlitz and Scream'! - Because unless you're used to it, that's what you'll end up doing!

No typo or spelling mistake Alan. Schlitz is 'The Beer That Made Milwaukee Famous'

I was born in Milwaukee and lived there for 18 years. Schlitz is the only beer my Dad and his blue collar friends drank. I hated beer and preferred Brandy. Most my friends drank PBR.

I'm with you on this one Jan, given the choice between Schlitz and PBR, I'd have a brandy any day.

I always thought that Arthur Fonzarelli did a lot more to 'make Milwaukee famous' than any beer ;).

I'm afraid so. I never tasted either Schlitz or PBR over here in the UK Severus, only on trips to the US when I was in the Merchant Navy.

Actually, I was referring to "Fonzie" of "Happy Days." You've seen it?
