Sorted!

I bought my new bivvy yesterday and greeted the wife at the door last night as she came home from work. "Hi love, hard day? Listen, there's a bit of a bug going round, and apparently it can cause you to hallucinate that your husband has erected a large green tent in the living room..."

Well, it was raining, I didn't want to get it wet!

Not quite there yet, but the spare bedroom is filling up with Wingham kit.

Two Drennan tench rods and an Avon for sitting on alarms, a match rod, a spod rod and a marker rod. May also take the old JW Avon so that I can leave it set up with a float rig.

New bivvy. Beach shelter for cooking in. Umbrella. Bed chair. Chair. Stove. Pans. Kettle.

Still need to go through the terminal tackle and make sure all is right. And of course buy bait and pick up anything that the terminal tackle audit shows to be needed. Oh, and buy a new head torch with a red option. And food, of course. And a new cool box - the one I took to Wingham last year was not emptied before being put away in the shed for 12 months. I don't know what I left in it, but I do know I am never opening the lid again.

Sorry, Rusty you may have some more packing to do, or should it be unpacking. No lure fishing of any kind is allowed, including I'm afraid dropshotting. Even my syndicate members can't do so at this time of year.

Steve, you've got good taste!

It looks as though you've got the same spare bedroom furniture as us. We're sorted now unless we move yet again, but I spent ages looking for some items to match. If you ever want to get rid of it please let me know.

Ok Steve but I generally use lobs when drop shotting, it's proved a very effective method. Would that be ok?

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

Cheers Steve!

The wardrobe was left by the previous owners, but we decided we liked it and bought the bed to match.
