It's been very quiet lately on all the forums, I haven't seen an otter decimating our fish post for months. Have they finally eaten all the fish? They said 5 years ago that we'd have no fish left in 5 years' time, so to be fair, we were warned...

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

Not that bored are you Anderoo? :D . I think the otters and cormorants are lulling us into a false sense of security. They are meeting in secret underground bunkers and holding talks on what the best way is to end this war once and for all. When we least expect it they will launch their last daring attack and wipe out the remaining fish in one perfectly executed mission before then turning their attention to humans. Mark my words. In the next 5 years there will be no humans left. Only otters and cormorants. You have been warned. :D

I think the EE's have eaten all the Otters as they have run out of Carp, Pike and Zander to bother.

I've seen a few small streams where otters have had a significant short term impact but i suspect they're mainly a "problem" for over stocked commercial fisheries.

I saw footprints in the middle of Kidderminster last week as the river levels dropped and exposed sandbanks. It remains to be seen what if any effect the otters will have on the river.

They probably moved house after they got flooded out with the rains. They will pop up in new places :D :D

The two best times to go fishing are when it's raining and when it's not

Fingers crossed they all move to Oxfordshire.

Should be stocked there too if ever there's any more stocking going on. Convenient with the M4 ;)

I picked up a copy of AT yesterday Andy - you're right! I guess the forums just got bored of it all.

 

Jeff, it depends on the day's fishing someone has in Oxfordshire - if they have a good day, the otters have yet to arrive; if they have a bad day, otters have eaten everything in the water ;)
