Fitting the line to a Fox PVA bag.

I know that I may appear to be thick but the instructions with the FOX Rapid load PVA Bag System show everything apart from how to fit the bag to the line. Could you help?

Not looked but is it a solid bag or a mesh? If a mesh just hook twice in one spot so that you have a few strands over the hook. If a solid bag then I tend to put my lead etc in the bag and lick it to wet the pva and then twist the opening to make it stick behind the lead thus holding it in place when it dries. One of the reasons I dont like to use pva bags is having to wait for it to dry sufficiently to cast it any distance. I used them at Wingham to good effect for the eels though. I prefer to use mesh to solid bags although I dont use them all that often as I tend to use pva string to make stringers of pellets or boilies when barbel fishing at night. Other than that I am usually using maggots or lures.

Fox picked up on this via our Twitter feed and replied with this:

They are designed to be fished with the lead and rig inside the bag, once tied it will be attached to the line and ready to cast
