Reincarnation - has anyone looked at the evidence?

I'd like to see you tote the burden of proof for that one.

Ah Corys favorite get out , tell me Cory, would you try and force your opinions onto the Dali Lama the way you do with people on the forum.

And getting on that course of replies, could you provide the burdon of proof with this little statement you came out with. Lost a lot of cedibility with that remark Cory.

That's you opinion, but there is little or no empirical evidence linking the playing violent video games to acts of real world violence.

Oh!

And most of the matter that comprised our bodies when we were born is long-gone and already re-incarnated many times over in the food-chain.

As will be the matter that comprises our bodies now, in a few years time.

Our skin is constantly shedding, the cells of our organs dying and being replaced as they are passed out of our bodies and back into the food-chain.

Mites and bed-bugs are working constantly to keep up, and ensure that we are re-incarnated back up the food-chain.

I once read that it is practically certain that we will each breathe a molecule or two that was once breathed by Jesus.

It could well be that the hamburger we eat in McDonalds could contain a molecule that was once part of the body of Jesus!

And will be again, and again, and again.

Andy,

I don't know how these threads always do this. Reincarnation and resurrection of a soul are two totally different subjects.

Surely you're not suggesting we Christians have "embellished" our story are you? We would'nt do THAT. Comic book is a good illustration or compairison. Most of our followers in the early development of "faith" were illiterate and needed allegories to get the message across.

By saying that you make an assumption that time is linear and not transcendental. I would argue that any higher consciousness and multi spiritual container would exist outside of time (and space), so the 'past' is not a relevant concept if you want to count souls.

I'd like to see you tote the burden of proof for that one. How many angels can dance on the point of a needle?

I am not sure what needs proving here, nor why. We do not appear capable of moving freely in time, yet why shouldn't something beyond our understanding be able to do so? It is similar to the concept of nothing, which I assume would comprise of no space and no time. We are simply not able to understand and visualise these kinds concepts, but does that mean they don't exist?

Cory is fond of using that burdon of proof Lid.

Many years ago I was at an social event with a hypnotist. A friend's girlfriend was susceptible and they carried on with the hypnotist after the public session ended. She recounted a number of past lives giving her names, dates and some events. My friend made notes, but I never found out if they researched the output any further. I have been to a psychic event where a presenter has appeared to pick up on specific things relating to some-one in my group without any apparent contact or prior knowledge. I am convinced I have seen ghost twice in 1980, but nothing before, nor since. As far as I am concerned we should keep an open mind.

Yes of course we are re-incarnated.

Every molecule in our bodies was forged in long dead stars, eons before our sun was born.

And was once part of a living pig, chicken, grain of wheat etc, as was every molecule that made up that pig, chicken, grain of wheat etc.

And will be again, and again, and again.

Ahhh noooo, ground hog day and again and again and again etc, etc, etc, etc.

:)

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
