I get to rise at 7am to start the Xmas lunch, feed the animals etc. But I don`t have to go to work for a couple of days!!! What a stroke of luck this year. Xmas day falling on a Thurs when Its followed by my Sat` off. The only trouble will be the neighbours calling `round? I don`t mind the odd bottle as a pressie, its just that I have to give them my `good stuff` ( and I don`t mean cheapo Glenfiddich). Another good thing about fishing with Linda and Davy, is the whisky shop in Fort William, especially if you can obtain a good buy?

Christmas, humbug!!

New Year? Now that`s something else.

Paul.

We don`t use J`s anymore!!

Hope this one's got Sky TV mate :D:D:P

And a Widescreen Tele. Unfortunately part of the bargain that I spend the day at hers is that I have to take her out shopping sometime after Christmas. Any excuses would be gratefully received!

The only 2 weeks of the year that we get to ourselfs and to make sure we can do what WE want, when we want and with whome we want, we go away to the sunshine while we can afford it, next year may be different but thats for next year

Usually means trying to please others too much.

This year will be different as the little one (Scott) will be 1 year and 10 days old.

Sorry you guys but I love it :D , I've done all my shopping, the presents are all wrapped and ready to go under the tree and our decorations will be up the 1st week of December. I love the pleasure of giving and hopefully making people happy (well I think it makes them happy  )It can be an expensive time of the year but I've learnt that expensive gifts are'nt always necessary and home made presents are sometimes far more appreciated.

My family are coming to us for christmas dinner (7 of us)and its our 1st year in our new house. Im nearly always the 1st to wake, this year will probably be the same :) It's a lovely time of year for some but dreadful for others, luckily I have a family that I love and enjoy spending time with. Christmas - I love it and hopefully I always will.

:D

It means my little bit of the world is still alright and it's a good time to be with friends and family and enjoy it for a few days.....And I couldn't give a stuff if it's over commercialised, it's still the most magical time of the year.

I can remember finding my mum scrubbing the front step at 5 o'clock one Christmas morning. Can't think why, other than the fact she was probably bored.
