The hunt never controlled foxes. It is not in their interest to do so and they dislike anyone who effectively exterminates foxes in an area. There is no evidence to suggest that the change to the hunting with dogs laws caused an increase in urban foxes. However I believe it is fair to say there has been an increase in the population of urban foxes over the last 30 years and their boldness.

The more an animal comes across a human the less afraid it will be ,as for attacks by foxes your lucky urban badgers havnt got so numerous or bold although they dont have the attack instinct so much a

The foxes wont complain about the ingrediants!

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Seems to be an important question is missed.

 

Being we are in the middle of Winter I wonder how the Fox entered the dwelling with sufficient time to attack?

 

Any parent who leaves such a young child alone with easy access for a predatory animal needs a swift kick up the backside.

I mean London not only has Foxes to contend with but Rats aswell alongside feral Cats or Dogs.

hummm, when my kids where young, they always had a seperate bedroom to sleep in, would i have ever had considered shutting the bedroom door, nope.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Just trying to help the tyke back up the hill i am sure.

No sense of feer i guess its been a pet at some time its not in any (any) animals interest to go up against anything that has the potential to harm it so i guess its not a wild fox but a mixed up pet fox thats been released or escaped

Living in the Uk we are lucky not to have any wild animals that can kill us.

Yes the adder can but not very often.

The trouble is most people in this country think wild animals are all nice and cuddly. Many years ago a friend from a town was walking with myself and some others when he saw and picked up a nice looking animal (stout or weasel) which promptly embedded its teeth in a finger!!

I my self have almost taken a wack from a munjac after disturbing a family group whilst peeing in a bush at a local fishery.

It still does not answer how the Fox got in the house.

 

As a Father of 3 I call it negligence on the part of the parents..

You don't expose an infant to potential danger especially when neighbours readily admit they know Foxes are a problem.

 

Still the infant seems to be recovering and being so young should not be as emotionally scarred as say with an older child.
