I,m sure 2 billion yen users would disagree

China?

2 Billion Yen users might just swing it, unfortunately there are only 128 Million of them. The Yen is the currency of Japan, not China, China uses the renminbi.

There have been many attempts by the Chinese government to get the renminbi to be accepted as a Reserve currency but as yet none have come to fruition. The renminbi makes up less than 1.0% of currency traded and China does not have an open Bond market so it has some way to go before it will ever be a reserve currency. The 2 main reserve currenciaes are the US Dollar and the Euro. This is a fact, my definition of fact is "a confirmaed observation"

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

I didnt know that it wasnt the yen ,it most probably shows ignoreace or just perhaps i dont look extra smart ,ooking things i dont know up on the www first

Fact imho is not possible until everyone on earth agrees with it ,theres far to many facts of convenience spouted when agendas suit them

Dam this little screen theres some strange spellings as well

Not sure why the $ is still used when was the last time (or anytime) you had american goods in the shop besides badly made imported cars? ,unfortunately its very easy to fix import export stats simply by making it difficult to import stuff as america and the eu do ,we can buy an awful lot of stuff america cannot ,i expect its the same with the eu and its stupid rules brought in when it suits it (or perhaps germany) theres some mighty fine paints forbidden by the eu available everywhere in america but forbidden here ,how convenient now we will probably have to buy inferior german stuff from lidl

Perhaps it was the yuan i was thinking of ?,still who cares its only a word a foreign one at that

What china could do though is simply print american dollars and use that as money to buy gold, once thats debased problems gone

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

I'm not a big enough thinker to handle major economic issues but I do know that when a GBP will buy over $1.50 in goods, I have ebay sales to UK buyers and prior to mid-2008 when a GBP would buy $2.00+ in goods, at least half my international sales were to the UK. Now that the pound will buy about $1.40, UK sales are almost non-existent unless I am offering some unusual collectable that someone over there really wants.

Newt you don,t have to be a "big thinker" to post your opinion on a forum: you only have to read some posts to realise this ;)

Smile they said life could get worse, I did and it was
