Has spring sprung?

And then presumably the locals complain about the kind of brits they attract and the way they behave.

Not really. Despite what the tabloids would have you believe most are well behaved..Just loud.

When they fight it is usually amongst themselves, and the police are ruthless in sorting it.

Normally after a police "operation" it goes really "quiet" for a week as the story of "what the police were like" spreads, and is exaggerated..:shutup:

I cant understand the need to go there ,s not the weather most youngsters probably are asleep in the day and it cant be the cheap booze because its more expensive if you add up the cost of the trip ,must be the sex but if your drunk is it worth doing?

Perhaps the police are secret benders for the more sexual adventurous ,it tends to be revealed in the overtly masculine types pretending otherwise

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

21.5C/71F yesterday with lovely sunshine in the afternoon at Wingham in east Kent. The weeping willows are out, and I saw my first swallow and house martins of the year.

Mainly sunny again today but "only" 16C/61F. Heard the first nightingale of the year.

Yeah, I'd also want to avoid looking like a fanny if I were cycling round Glasgow!

Edit - round here, I only have to deal with tossers in Golfs trying to kill me:

Woodpeckers are whacking the bejasus out of the trees in the deciduous wood next to my allotment. All the fair weather surfers are arriving on the sea-front, swelling the ranks of the hardcore Winter guys. It's VW van city out there, I wonder what percentage of over-priced Volkswagen vans are owned by that lot - all of them, from where I'm looking ;) .
