Turn off the A14 at copdock interchange (toys r us) and go down the A12 towards london.

turn off at copdock junction and head back towards ipswich on old A12.

At the end of the (it suddenly has barriers) old A12 the road shrply goes left.

Just before that on the right is h gladwell (copdock mill).

 

I am sure they have a place near Stowmarker and Bury, will have a look.

If copdock are out of hemp you are more than welcome to pop round to get the hemp.

They do look to be 'proper' prices. That's the kind of price I was getting quoted from ones around here.

 

Rudd - can you remember if Copdock sell singles sacks to Joe Public and how much they were?

Cost me 10.80 for 15kg of raw hemp.

As below they sell loads of stuff, if you cant see it just ask.

Went to an animal feed wholesalers last week just outside Ipswich.

 

Got myself some very cheap bait :

 

15kg raw hemp for 10.80 thats 0.72p per kilo

frenzied hemp works out at 3.71 per kg.

 

25kg of 8.5mm course fish pellets containing fishmeal and betain along with vitamens and wheat gluten which is the bulking agent.

As the sack was split they let me have it for 14 pounds. Thats 56pence per kilo!!!!!!!!!!!(should have only been 18.28)

 

25kg of 4mm the same as above for 18.28

Thats 73pence per kilo!!!!!!!!!!

 

In my local tackle shop a kilo of 4mm pellets costs 2.50 per their own brand and 3 to 4 pounds for a Brand name such as van den eye or fish stim etc

 

This place sells loads of different baits such as mollacus at four pounds for five litres!!!!!!!!

Certain suppliers charge 4.50 for 450ml!!!!!!!!

 

They also had cheap halibut pellets, white/brown crumb, vitalin, boilies, maize and god knows what else.

 

It just goes to show that as usual we are grossly overcharged to enjoy our pastime and by shopping about we can easily bring the cost of our sport down.
