This charity fishing Match is fundraising for the Yorkshire Regiment Benevolent Trust, the guys that have signed up already are talking about a £5 pool, which could mean almost £300 to the winner.

Birkin Fisheries, Haddlesey Road, Birkin, North Yorkshire, WF11 9LT The lake has 58 pegs flowing around an island...Read more in the middle, from the edge of the bank to the middle is around 12-14ft which would be perfect for fishermen using poles, The Depth is around 3-5ft from the margin to the opposite bank. Species in the lake are Perch, Roach, Tench, Carp, Golden Orf/Rudd. A Café on site serves hot drinks and food all day.
