Hi

Does anyone know where adults can learn to fish.

Today, whilst at college, I saw a flyer for Fishing training.

When I asked , it was for 14-19 year olds !!!

I've had a few chats with people whilst fishing, as I'm sure you all have, and they seem really keen, but are too shy (for want of a better word) to give it a go.

I reckon it'd help the EA out if they published more trial sessions for adults.

What duz yuz fink?

Liam

Doh !! smile.gif

If I had a brain, I'd be dangerous !

Great site btw,

http://www.paauk.com/pacoach.html

for a coach'R'us near you.

Actually that reminded me of summat about 6 months ago.

I used to go to a local mental health drop in,

and they had a questionnaire of what people would like to do

with their spare time (as most were dolies)

A lot of pople said fishing, but didn't know where to start.

By chance I rang the Environmental Agency no (at the back of the licence)

and asked if there were any coaches around the manchester area.

I haven't got his name to hand , but one of the coaches was a top

bloke, and said he'd come down with the tackle and coach the people

in the drop in for a day for free!!

I passed his no. onto the drop-in, and to be honest I don't know what

came of it.

Cheers

Liam
