Finding old topics on AN

Anderoo

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find an old topic I started but am having trouble doing it. I go to 'my content' and select 'topics', but the resulting search is limited to 3 April 2012. Is it possible to extend this, or get rid of the time limit completely? Ta for any pointers.

I've found the same thing!

I just Googled the subject and added my name. Anglers Net comes high up on Google, but if not just search for "subject Anderoo site:www.anglersnet.co.uk".

I agree though, going further back like we used to be able to do would be very helpful.

It would appear that using the search facility in the top RH corner will take you back to the year 2000, this can be used for all or each forum or the whole site.

If you need to go further back, then I am at a loss as to what to do.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

If you go to the advanced search (cogwheel icon, top right) you can search by author and sort by ascending date. It comes up with this as your oldest post:

Cheers Steve - that works OK (with a few extra bits thrown in!).
