Hi, I have just registered having seen some great information on this site. My name is David and I got back into coarse fishing about 2 years ago and have had a great time updating my methods and tackle since last fishing as a youngster. When not being Dad's taxi taking my son's to football matches I try to find time to go pleasure fishing. Have spent the last few years on local Suffolk waters such as Kirton Hall Lake, Marsh Farm, Sternfield and the match lake at Suffolk Water Park. Recently joined a fabulous looking club water at Nacton called Ladywood Lakes and would really appreciate any advice if anyone knows it. Cheers

I have fished there for approx 20 years.

Started when it was a FMS water, then helped form club, was match sec, Baliff and committee member for eight years until I gave up positions.

Its is a managed estate type lake venue with sensisble stocking levels.

There is a good mix of members with most being approachable and helpfull.

Three waters with a good mix of pegs that have very different depths and features.

Carp, Tench, Crucian, Chub, Bream, Skimmers, Rudd, Roach, Golden Rudd, Perch and a few exotics plus the occasional big Eel.

A little and often approach is best with most methods working.

A very nice venue once the weather warms up and plants all grow up a bit.

It has its days and moods, somedays you can bag up and on others you can struggle for a bite.

Stick to the rules and you will have no trouble.
