Yeah, just found her obituary. 56 years old, would have been late 30's early 40's when I was there. Too young.

You must have almost overlapped with me then - I was an undergrad from '91-'94, a university employee over the summer of '94 and then a full time external PhD student under Bob Wootton from around October '94 to '97. As an external, I had another two supervisors at the FBA/IFE lab on Windermere, so I didn't visit very often. In retrospect, that was a mistake, I ended up rewriting pretty much everything to Bob W's liking...
