Yeah your right Alan, I have a couple of the bags and they are great and pretty well made also. I've never seen their glow sticks but have heard they're good, appart from that all their other fishing tackle that i've seen is pretty much just cheap tat...jmo of course.

I too have had their light sticks and expected them to be poor quality and not work well or at all. Like Tigger I've found them excellent.

They are brothers who had a falling out, so one started up as a competitor

Might have to go get the fly rod to give it a go without forking out £££ and deciding I don't like (can't do) it

I would look for a decent second hand at the same price. If you are fishing streams, as opposed to reservoirs, then even a good glass fibre is worth considering. Aldi & Lidl rods are OK to leave in the car but the ones that I have had have been a bit stiff. The travel rod shown (4 sections) is the style of rod that is often in end of season sales etc. I would prefer a 2 piece. Advantage of car boots etc is that you can actually feel how heavy and how it is balanced. On no account pick up a Hardy second hand rod, it will make you weep.

I've seen many of those bags used as camera bags, in fact I'm currently using one myself. They're so cheap that it's worth buying two or three and filling them up as grab bags, for various types of fishing at a moment's notice.

If they're anything like the job lot JV44 bought off e-bay (of dubious origin) you could send them to Heathrow for when conditions are foggy.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back
