Rusty,

Yes, I too thought that was quite expensive. Do you know of any reason, other than carp is imported. that it would be so expensive? I don't remember fish being especially expensive in the UK.

Probably forward thinking, they were anticipating a shortage of supply once commercial stocks dried up. They were also considering a fixed price arrangement (let's call it a day ticket), as much as you could carry and if you got past the checkouts it was yours. They canned it becasue it had already been done.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

I think he has a point its his fishery and we all know the Easterns eat carp.

Its not racist. If it read on his sign " no whites " would that be racist.

yes quite simply it would.

Have a read:

It's not quite simply, it's quite complicated. It's not exactly black and white, but a multitude of shaes of grey (more than 50) I would hazard a guess

The two best times to go fishing are when it's raining and when it's not

See the link in my post on the other page, legally racial discrimination includes discrimination on the basis of race or national or ethnic origin. In law, clear cut, not allowed.

Steve,

I don't know? Seems to me it is just a matter of theft. A preceived or real idea that the fishery is _______ (whatever?) Whilst I see cultural bias I don't see "discrimination".

How about a sign that says Dear EE's, "don't eat the fish" or "capturing fish for the pot is not allowed".

I tend to believe the fishery guy has some of Worm's otters. He may indeed be looking for a scapegoat but I doubt his sign is illegal.

It is pretty clear the guy thinks British culture is superior to any or all others but that is not an uncommon trait or against the law.

the trust were paid 30,000 quid to sort the polish err question.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

No place for racism in fishing full stop.

No place for racism at a commercial fishery- bad economic sense. Never turn away customers.

Trout fishing has no trouble with customers using the fishery as a fun take away.

So simples..

Price for fishing there should reflect the restocking costs.

Then supermarkets will under cut the fishery price and the hungry will leave the fishery.

After hours fishing should reflect the cost of overtime for fishery staff to collect the fees.

There we are, a solution that Thatcher would be proud of, simple supply and demand.

A bit tricky to get the otters and cormorants to get the hang of this though, I think that the supermarkets have problems on the hygiene front with wild animals etc etc They would need to dip their feet I suppose.

"Muddlin' along"

Phone, it isn't illegal to hold those opinions, however in this country if you refuse to provide goods or services to someone because of his race, you break the law.
