You're welcome to come as I've got spaces. Just let me know asap.

Only just logged back on, up to my eyeballs last few days.

I have no transport at present as car in for MOT / service, trying to get a tyre size they dont hold in stock!

Moved from wrong topic.

The Main Lake may be waking up just in time for the Fish-In!

Mark Cunnington has had 2 more tench this afternoon, a 6-04 and a clonker of 9-08. The latter was 23 1/2ins long and, although it ran out of girth near the tail (indicating a young fish), was very heavily-built. In other words a likely 11lber in July.

Also this afternoon Paul Westcott (Tincatinca) had a male of just under 7lbs.

It's looking a lot more promising than a few days ago!

Good luck everyone...Wingham's a magical place and I only regret that I won't be there because I can't get a weekend off (including holdays!) between now and next March.... queue a job search!)

This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

After a certain age, if you don't wake up aching in every joint, you are probably dead.

Well I don't like to tempt fate, but there's now no rain forecast til Monday, and it's bordering on warm...!

I'm sitting watchibg the lake and listening to the birdsong and enjoying a well earned coffee. There's a cetti warbler somewhere close, it's deafening :)

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

I hope it stays like that for you all Andrew. It's been raining up here for the last 16 hours.

Keep us up to date with all the action.

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Sounds good, I spent more time watching/photographing birds when I was there than I did fishing. Just wish my car hadn't chosen to pack in couple of weeks sine or I would have been there.

Have a good one!
