i stand corrected :D we may also be related far more worrying than me getting the gist of your post wrong :D

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

My Romani parents and many other relatives certainly went hop-picking in Kent, and did so for many years.

They were mainly farm workers, so getting their hands dirty was no big deal to them. 'Hoppin' was regarded as a bit of an adventure, actually, but it was serious graft, too.

And on the eighth day God created carp fishing...and he saw that it was pukka.

In a similar non PC vein Alan, did you hear about the dyslexic agnostic insomniac?

I'm not sure I go along with PC.... in a demovratic society, I resent having people's mores inflicted upon me without consultation. As far as I am concerned, they can be mealy mouthed and avoid calling a spade a spade if they want. In the meantime, a spade is a spade, and that was a funny joke, Budgie!

What is kind of worrying is that I lived for a few years in the same area as you.... Biggin Hill, Keston, Bromley, but I wasn't an angler in those days.

And Chesters has been an intrepid angler all along, Alan! Can't anglers and non anglers be related?

Doh! Of course they can. Stubbs, you're a fool!

Peter, it's a saturday, and I've had a long 'week' working (15 days straight off).... I must've sat down and put my brain under pressure.
