mullet feeding frenzy

Let us know how you get on with rod & reel. We have some anglers on here who do some mullet fishing and really enjoy it although they can be a bit tricky from what I'm told. I'm too far inland to have a chance at any so can't speak from personal experience.

Give me an Avon float rod with and I'd have a few out of that lot I think, but they can be really finicky. Mullet is all I fish for these days, they really are fun when you get one on.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Nice fish, but may I suggest that you take a landing net next time! Then you won't have to drag it over the stone steps, nor pick it up with your hands with the risk of dropping it.
