french bassing

spent 30 years going down Dartmouth, brixham etc Norm. The French trip is something that we fancy doing and the guys have done it a few times. We also had good live bait bassing off the isle of wight last year, but fancy a change. Ian Noble is rather good at winkling out the rather large French bass. there's about half a dozen guys going who are mates and it will be a laugh. Ain't been abroad for a while so I said yes :icecream: And yes the fishing down south devon is rather good. Not sure of the total cost but we will budget for about 90 a day including accommodation over there.

:bye2: Bad news! I've got an infection in my foot and I'm on antibiotics and painkillers. I may well be cured before we go but I think it's only fair that I offer my place to someone that can go, rather than hang on and find that I can't go and there's an empty space that could have been filled. If I don't go and my space isn't filled I'll still pay my share but I'd hate to see an empty space on such a trip. If I get better and my space is filled, bad luck for me but at least it's not a wasted space. :bye2:

:clap3: No takers for my slot so I struggled on with a bad foot, new tablets from the doctors helped after they decided I didn't have an infection, it was gout, still very painful though. Weather was perfect, sea like a mirror, hotel was nice, couldn't get a full English breakfast though. Plenty of good pollock and a few nice big cod, not a sign of a bass though. Well done to Ian the skipper, plenty of tea and coffee(when we didn't run out of milk). Nice to get away for a few days and well done to those that did the filleting. My neighbours enjoyed the fish, want to know when I'm going again.

Norm

you have my sympathy for the gout.

I am a fellow sufferer and know what it can feel like.

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

:hypocrite: Good job I was pro-active as the Dr was treating me for an infected foot or a broken toe. After 4 days on antibiotices and painkillers with it getting worse I went back for a second opinion and another Dr thought it might be gout and prescribed different tablets, within a day the pain had eased slightly and I could limp painfully. Fishing was bearable but the walking to and from the boat was very painful and into town was agony but I had to eat. :hypocrite:

:clap3: My 5 minutes of fame. Have you looked at my turbot on the U tube website, just type in Dartmouth turbot. It's also on the Fishing Dartmouth site but I'm not sure where, I think I'm also featured on a conger trip there too, those were the days, heady fame. :bleh:
