Turning auto-correct off?

Recommended Posts

wont be forum based mate; will be browser based:

http://www.ricksdailytips.com/disable-autocorrect/

that's for IE 10 in windows 7

for IE 10 windows 8 you can also use the hammer and nails approach:

a. Press the Windows Key + C

b. On the Charms bar select Settings

c. Select More PC Settings

d. Select General

e. Under General there are Spelling selections

f. Autocorrect misspelled words

g. Highlight misspelled words

By default these are on. If you want to change this, simply slide to the off position.
Keep in mind this is a PC setting, not just an Internet Explorer 10 Preview setting.
