So how did it go ? Are the Wrasse in ?

Well parked by the first set of steps up to the wall and unpacked the essentials.





First drop down the wall and in 5 seconds Oh no, not another Pout plague




I was fishing a Suveran Evo Uptider, Avet SX loaded with 30 lb braid down the wall.
Two size 1 hook's on short booms and shot hook lengths, baited with quality rag from Brazil's.

The other Rod, Suveran SX, Abu 6500 Mag Elite florida Orange loaded with 12 lb Berkley Big Game.
4/0 Pennel baited with whole squid and cast out into the bay.

After the 3 rd Doggie from the outie rod, changed tactic's and re-rigged to size 1 hook and just Rag.
(Might get a flat fish with spots instead)

After mid-day it got really frantic with both rods going off at the same time.

Are the Wrasse in ? Can i get past the pesky pout ? oh yes, big big pull down and a jolly nice scrap
result ! I am Victorious





After the 90th pout, change tactics on the inie rod, on goes a 3/0 Hook.
Add two rag mix with a squid head, ignore the million bites and bang.

Most excellent





Some of the pout were getting a good size and registering cracking bites





Run out of bait, waved to the Breakwater crew (as promised) and koofed off home right pleased.






Next time it will be Bass targeted. SAM COX, can you hear me ? LOL.
