As seen on tv last night it has been announced the goverment is going to sell royal mail off NOW ITS MAKING MONEY good for the tax payer once privatized how long will it be before its a £1 to post a letter remember we have healthy competition with privatized utilitys like water ,gas and electric all making massive profits for the share holders will it be just another one joining the cartel taking your eyes out.

the share holders in this instance will be the workers themselves and the general public. It will also release the company from the constraints of the government and the unions. And allow it to trade on the open market to arrange it's own funding as opposed to tax payers money being put in.

hopefully the tube will be next, along with driverless trains to make bob crow redundant. :clap3:

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Personally I don't see a problem with £1 to post a letter. How much would it cost you to deliver it personally? Especially if, lets say you are in London and the letter is going to Glasgow. Maybe 50p for 'local' post

It was £1 a liter ages ago.

I drove to Felixstowe at the weekend for leisure purposes.

It cost me about £20 odd quid each way to send my self

Would have been better to send a letter at £ 1 to afford my apologies and not gone at all

The charter boat would have lost my custom, and got my letter 10 days later.

If you want to run your business by royal mail, then good luck to you.

I'm in the freight business, and believe me the post office is value for money at double the current prices.

Especially with no increase for islands and highlands unlike couriers

They have though buggered up the "packet" area i could send small camping cookers to the other side of the world very cheaply using small packet but now they changed the sizes .

Idiots all of them if more and more stuff is bought online grab the niche on small items couriers can be expensive so they should have grabbed the under two kilo stuff for themselves ,why would the bosses care though they got paid a huge amount whatever happens

I will though predict if the letter price rises christmas will be a slow time for royal mail ,i'm lucky i am billy no mates
