Pole advice PLEASE!

I'm looking for a 13/14.5m pole please could someone give me some advice on what pole to buy in the price range of 350 pound would be a great help

It would depend on what type of fishing you are doing. Are you just fishing for small silvers or are you going after the carp. I have used Browning Black Magic poles and Shimano Technium 13mtr(my personal favourite £299). Both superb poles but I've no doubt other people will tell you Maver, Tri Cast, etc etc there is such a massive selection in this price range

For £350 you're going to find it hard to find a good usable 14.5m pole: have you considered second hand.

 

PS. If you do go second hand make sure you check each section carefully for any cracks or soft spots and also the joints for scratches, chips and any other wear and tear.

Just got myself a 14.5m MAP pole with 5 top sets for 150 quid, it's second hand but mint condition.

 

Second hand is the way to go just keep an eye on Gumtree and be prepared to react quickly, the best bargains go quickly!

I bought a new (new old style) Shimano Technium and I have battered it. 12.5 meter and would recommend anyone buy one if the were looking for a new pole around that price. But like Kappa I bought my MAP pole (ex-display) off ebay for peanuts, there was a crack in one section but I know someone who got me a replacement dirt cheap. Like using a new pole. Mint Condition.

 

Best bet. Pole Compare to find the one you want then scour Ebay.

 

A mate of mine picked up an Old Shimano Super Ultegra 16m Pole with 6 kits for 435 a few weeks ago. I know that its an old pole now, but it was the flagship, and still out strips most of the middle range poles even now for rigidity and weight.
