My job takes me all over the UK, and I often see rivers and lakes (lochs!) with strange names. For example:-

 

Rivere Erewash on the Nottinghamshire Derby border.

 

Loch Drunkie in the Trossachs, just up over the Dukes Pass from Aberfoyle.

 

Can anyone add any more?

 

 

BTW Loch Drunkie is a beautiful spot to fish and only £3 per day. Not stocked, just perfect wild brownies. Click here for more details Loch Drunkie. If you are in the area you could check out Loch Chon too. The perch in Loch Chon are ace.
